Hearing to Consider Whether Local Union 714 Should Remain in Trusteeship

Local Union 714, Berwyn, Illinois
Please be advised that a hearing will be conducted on Monday, August 4, 2008, to afford all members of Local Union 714 an opportunity to address a panel on the question of whether the temporary emergency Trusteeship imposed over Local Union 714 should be continued or dissolved. The hearing will be held at Teamsters Local Union 705, 1645 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, Illinois, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Any member of the Local Union will have the opportunity to present his or her views concerning the future of the Local Union and the Trusteeship. Members who are unable to attend the hearing but wish that their views be considered by the panel should send their written comments to the Hearing Panel. I assure you that any written expressions of opinion will be considered along with the oral testimony at the hearing. All members are encouraged to participate in the hearing in order to provide the panel with the fullest range of views of the members of the Local Union.
